The Ministry of Transport has reported three violations during a three-day inspection campaign targeting limousine cars operated by companies providing passenger transport through electronic applications.

The campaign, conducted during the Eid Al Adha holiday in coordination with the Ministry of Interior’s Public Transport Security Department, inspected 66 limousine cars across several areas in Qatar.

According to the Ministry, legal action has been taken against the vehicles found in violation, in line with applicable laws and regulations.

The inspections focused on safety, reliability and service quality standards, particularly in key locations that witnessed high visitor turnout during the holiday period. The Ministry said such campaigns are part of its ongoing efforts to monitor compliance among passenger transport companies.

The Ministry of Transport added that it gives high priority to ensuring that transport operators comply with regulations, meet safety requirements and provide quality services to passengers.
