Emirates Flight Catering to Hire 400 for New Dh160 Million Facility

Emirates Flight Catering has announced the groundbreaking of a new Dh160 million laundry facility, Linencraft, located in Dubai Investment Park.

This new site will create 400 direct jobs and enhance Linencraft’s operational capacity by over 50%, addressing the growing demand in the UAE’s hospitality, aviation, and healthcare sectors.

The facility is set to increase daily processing capacity by 150 tons, adding to the current 280 tons handled at four existing locations.

It will feature two modular bulk laundry units and a dedicated garment plant capable of processing more than 28,000 pieces daily.

Shahreyar Nawabi, CEO of Emirates Flight Catering, emphasized that this investment reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The facility will incorporate energy-efficient systems and redundancies to ensure uninterrupted operations during peak demand.

With over 10,000 new hotel rooms expected by 2027 and significant international events on the horizon, the demand for large-scale laundry services is anticipated to rise sharply.

Emirates Flight Catering currently serves over 100 clients across various sectors, employing a workforce of 1,300.
