Bangladeshi Tailor in Dubai Wins Dh20 Million with First Big Ticket Attempt

In a remarkable turn of events, a Bangladeshi tailor living in Dubai has won a staggering Dh20 million in the latest Big Ticket draw, marking his first attempt at buying a ticket.

Sabuj Miah Amir Hossain Dewan, who has been in Dubai for 18 years, expressed his disbelief at the win, which he described as life-changing for his family in Bangladesh.

Dewan purchased the ticket during a visit to Abu Dhabi, motivated by the stories he heard from friends about the Big Ticket. “I thought, why not take a chance?”

he shared, noting that he had never participated in such a draw before. The news of his win came as a complete shock, and he plans to discuss how to use the prize money with his family.

Dewan wasn’t the only lucky winner; another Bangladeshi expat, Parvez Hosen Anower Hossain, also celebrated success by winning a Range Rover Velar after consistently purchasing tickets for four years.

Both winners exemplify the excitement surrounding the Big Ticket draws, which continue to attract participants with substantial prizes.

The next Big Ticket draw is set for September 3, with a grand prize of Dh15 million and additional prizes, including a BMW M440i. Tickets can be purchased online or at designated counters in airports.
