Qatar Foils Major Maritime Drug Smuggling Attempt

In a significant security achievement, the Ministry of Interior, through the General Directorate of Drug Control, has successfully intercepted an illicit attempt to smuggle approximately 100 kilograms of hashish into the country via its maritime borders.
The operation, executed in close coordination with the Ministry of Defense and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), underscores the exceptional vigilance, preparedness, and operational efficiency of Qatar’s security agencies in protecting the nation’s borders against organized criminal activities.

In its official statement, the Ministry reaffirmed its steadfast dedication to safeguarding the security, stability, and well-being of the State of Qatar.
