Saudi Arabia has seen a significant increase in tourism, welcoming around 116 million domestic and international visitors in 2024. To accommodate this growth, the Kingdom offers various visit visa options based on nationality, residency, and purpose of travel.

Visa Options Available
1. Visa on Arrival
Eligible travelers can obtain a visa on arrival at airports and entry points in Saudi Arabia. You may qualify if you:
- Hold a valid Schengen, US, or UK visit visa.
- Are a permanent resident in the US, EU, or UK.
Application Process: Use self-service kiosks or apply at the passport control counter upon arrival.

2. Saudi eVisa
The eVisa is a convenient option for most eligible nationalities and can be applied for online.
- Validity: Multiple-entry visa valid for one year.
- Stay Period: Up to 90 days per visit.
- Purpose: Tourism, family visits, or performing Umrah (outside Hajj season).
- Eligibility: Citizens of eligible countries, holders of valid Schengen, US, or UK visas, permanent residents in these regions, and residents of GCC countries.
Application Process: Submit through the official eVisa platform; you will receive the visa by email once approved.
3. Visit Visa for Non-Eligible Countries
If not eligible for an eVisa or visa on arrival, you can apply through embassies or authorized service centers for:
- Family Visits: Initiated by a Saudi resident or citizen who sends an invitation.
- Tourism: Applications submitted via the KSA Visa platform or directly at Saudi embassies.
- Umrah: Arrange through licensed agents if other visa options are not applicable.
- Business: Requires an invitation letter from a Saudi company.
4. Saudi Transit Visas
For travelers passing through Saudi Arabia, transit visas are available.
- Stopover Visa: For passengers with Saudia Airlines or Flynas, allowing stays of up to 96 hours for Umrah or visiting holy sites. This visa is free, though processing and medical insurance fees apply.
