UAE Travel: Banned Items in Hand Baggage at Dubai and Sharjah Airports

Passengers traveling through Dubai and Sharjah airports are advised of important regulations regarding hand baggage.
The UAE airport authorities have outlined items that are completely banned or restricted for safety reasons.

In Dubai, prohibited items include tools such as hammers and screwdrivers, sharp objects like scissors with blades longer than 6 cm, and various weapons including firearms and martial arts tools. Passengers are allowed to carry only one lighter, and power banks must not exceed 100Wh.
Sharjah airport has a stricter list, banning items such as bludgeons, flammable gases, knives with blades longer than 6 cm, and explosive materials.
Furthermore, liquids in cabin baggage are restricted to containers no larger than 100ml, with a maximum of ten containers allowed.
Travelers are encouraged to check with their airlines for any specific restrictions and to ensure compliance with these regulations to facilitate a smooth travel experience.
