Saudia Passenger Attempts to Open Door After Landing at Heathrow

A passenger aboard a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight attempted to open the plane’s door shortly after landing at London’s Heathrow Airport, Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Safety Center (NTSC) confirmed on Saturday.

The incident occurred on Saudia flight SV119 from Jeddah to London. According to the NTSC, as the aircraft was taxiing down the runway after landing, a passenger believed to be suffering from a health condition tried to move the door handle.

The statement highlighted the swift action of the flight crew, who intervened immediately, pushing the passenger away from the door and ensuring the safety of all travelers on board.
“The flight crew responded quickly to the situation and managed to push the passenger away from the plane’s door, thus ensuring the safety of all passengers,” the NTSC said.

Ongoing Investigation
The NTSC said it is coordinating with Saudi Arabian Airlines and British authorities to investigate the circumstances of the incident further.
No injuries were reported, and the flight concluded safely despite the disturbance.
